Regardless of what I say it shows, carved on my face in stone.
Bending self to break the mold; A square peg in round holes.
A change of stripes, attempt to hide.
Trade this cheap disguise for one you won't recognize.

Finding fault with me alone, as I'm descending to my throne.
To hear the way you talk, from your wounded point of view,
I may be human after all, as I can't help but side with you.
Was my soul lost on the way? Or are you just prone to exaggerate
Was the hold on us so great? Can a taste infatuate?
Pray tell, elaborate; If it was so bad why did we stay?
